Fallout series veterans will undoubtedly remember the alien blaster, a rare alien weapon that can be found in multiple games from the property. While the in-game variant can only be found if a player stumbles upon a downed UFO, gamers hoping to get their post-war mitts on the alien prize can now pre-order a replica straight from Project Triforce. The company is producing a line of the alien blasters as they appear in Fallout 4, and the recreations certainly do the weapon justice. More importantly, they’ll be shipping in early 2018.

The replica produced by Project Triforce is full-scale, meaning gamers will be holding an item manufactured to the same size it appears in the game. For those who haven’t witnessed the alien blaster in action, it’s a sight worth seeing, and we’ve compiled a handy guide on how where to find the weapon in Fallout 4. The weapon delivers powerful blasts, though each shot consumes a rare alien blaster round in the process. The weapon can be modified to consume fusion cells instead, allowing a much more renewable resource to feed one of the game’s most powerful weapons.
Project Triforce is no stranger to producing props from popular videogames, and their line of products extends to many bigger-sized fish than the alien blaster. Gamers have been able to acquire everything from Gears of War Hammerburst replicas to Geth pulse rifles from Mass Effect 3, almost making it surprising that the alien blaster is the first Fallout 4 item to appear in the company’s collection.
The product will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2018, and gamers interested in grabbing one of Fallout‘s most powerful weapons can lock in their order for $400 (with $100 being used as a deposit). The replica weighs about 8 pounds in total, sporting a 15″ length and featuring functional LEDs to mimic the in-game light output of the actual weapon. In short, this is a pretty serious replica, and we imagine hardcore Fallout 4 fans will want to put on their shelves right beside a functional Pip-Boy.

An easy guide to getting one of the most devastating hand guns in Fallout 4.
There’s a lot of secrets in Fallout 4, and a lot of hidden gear. While we know there are 30 plus exceptional weapons, there are also a handful of very rare guns hidden in secret locations.
One such weapon is the Alien Blaster Pistol. I’ve heard a few rumours about how you can only get this gun from random events. That’s not strictly true, as you can find it on the map with a little bit of searching.
There is a suggestion that the Alien Blaster Pistol only unlocks after an event which happens as you reach level 20. I can’t say if that’s true or not, but in some locations you will hear NPCs mention something falling from the sky. That something is a spaceship, and it leads to the Alien Blaster.

Regardless, this is where to find the Alien Blaster Pistol and how to get it.
Fast travel to Oberland Station. If you’ve not found this location on the map, here’s a handy Pip-Boy screen to help. From Oberland Station head east a short way and then left up the rockface here, where you’ll see burning trees.
Amongst the burning trees are scorch marks, a crater and a crashed spaceship. You can’t miss it.
Now look on the ground and you’ll see green blood. You want to follow this trail to a cave. Stand at the lowest point of the spaceship and follow the ridge to the right of it. You’ll see more blood.
Follow that over the hillock and you should see the cave, just down in the gully. Head into the cave.
Inside you’ll see the wounded alien. He’s easy to kill. So kill him.
Now you can take his weapon. It does base damage of around 50 points, but if you have some decent Perks and stats you’ll do more.
As you can see it kicks out 63 points of damage when I wield it. It actually uses a different ammo – AB Rounds – which you’ll find on the ugly little Alien critter. Use that ammo wisely because you’re unlikely to find much more of it.
Back to the Fallout 4 guide to Perks, weapons, companions, crafting and more
A seemingly random event in Fallout 4 gives players the opportunity to find a crashed alien spaceship and then acquire the Alien Blaster Pistol weapon.
The Fallout franchise is full of awesome weapons, and Fallout 4 is no exception. Players have a large arsenal of destructive tools at their disposal in the game, with one of the rarer and more interesting guns from Fallout 3 returning in the form of the Alien Blaster Pistol – albeit with an updated look.
Whereas finding the Alien Blaster Pistol in Fallout 3 was simply a matter of making one’s way to the alien crash site, obtaining the weapon in Fallout 4 is a bit trickier. It requires a special event to happen in the game, which may be randomly activated, so players can’t simply acquire the weapon at their leisure.
In order to get the pistol, one of two scenarios will need to occur: either players will be lucky enough to see the spaceship fall from the space, or NPCs will be overheard chattering about it in various settlements across the Bostonian wasteland. There’s some dispute over whether this only happens once players reach level 20 or if it can happen at any time, but in any case, there’s a good chance that the Alien Blaster Pistol will simply be unattainable until NPCs can be heard talking about a strange object falling from the sky.
Once this occurs, players should make their way to Oberland Station. Oberland Station is an area of the map that is hard to miss at the beginning of the game, and is located southeast of Sanctuary Hills. Here is a screenshot courtesy of VG 24/7 that shows exactly where Oberland Station is located in Fallout 4, for anyone that’s having difficulties finding it:
Upon arriving at Oberland Station, players should be able to easily notice some burning trees. Approach the trees to find a crater where the spaceship itself has crashed. The pilot has exited the ship and fled the crash site, but luckily left a trail of green blood that stands out well against the ground.
Following the blood trail will lead players to a cave. Enter the cave to find the alien, who is injured, but not quite dead just yet. Put the alien out of its misery and loot its corpse to acquire the powerful Alien Blaster Pistol, a weapon that will certainly come in handy for those that are braving the many dangers of the wasteland.
The weapon’s base damage is 50, but the stats and perks of the player character can give it an additional boost, making it even more powerful. The Alien Blaster Pistol uses AB rounds for ammunition, but there are reports that indicate that the gun can be modified to accept Cells for ammunition.
The Alien Blaster Pistol is just one of many of the unique and devastating weapons that can be found in Fallout 4. The game is full of other rare weapons that also give players a significant advantage over post-apocalyptic foes, such as the Cryolator, which is also worth seeking out for those still exploring Fallout 4. Good luck hunting down the Alien Blaster Pistol and the Cryolator, and remember to save their limited ammo supply for the wasteland’s greatest threats!
